Kisspeptin-10 (10 mg vial)

Once daily subcutaneous protocol for sexual and cosmetic research.

Kisspeptin sits at the top of the reproductive axis, triggering GnRH release and downstream LH and FSH, and it has genuine human research history in fertility and hypogonadism studies. The protocol below follows the community-standard subcutaneous schedule.

Quick answer: at the standard 10 mg + 1 mL reconstitution, a 200 mcg dose of Kisspeptin-10 draws 2 units (0.02 mL) on a U-100 insulin syringe, once daily subcutaneous.

Kisspeptin-10 dosing schedule

From the human physiology research programme, principally at Imperial College London, which has studied kisspeptin in reproductive endocrinology and as a trigger in IVF. These are controlled infusion studies designed to probe the reproductive axis, not a treatment protocol — and administration is intravenous infusion dosed per kilogram per hour, which does not translate to a subcutaneous injection.

Research infusionDosed per kg per hourContinuous intravenous infusionKisspeptin-10 has a half-life of minutes, so the research work uses infusion rather than bolus injection.
IVF trigger studiesSingle bolus, kisspeptin-54Subcutaneous, in trial settingsThe IVF trigger work largely used kisspeptin-54, a different and longer-acting form than kisspeptin-10.

Study length: Single infusions or short protocols within research and IVF-trigger settings.

Source for this schedule: Dhillo WS and colleagues, kisspeptin human reproductive physiology and IVF trigger studies. This reproduces what was administered in that work. It is reference information about a study, not a recommendation, and the trial population, monitoring and endpoints are part of what made it a protocol.

Reconstitution and measurement

This part is arithmetic and does not depend on the evidence level. Concentration is vial size divided by the bacteriostatic water you add. Draw volume is your target amount divided by that concentration. Units are draw volume times 100, because a U-100 syringe reads 100 units per millilitre. Common vials for Kisspeptin-10: 10 mg.

  1. Wipe the stoppers of both vials with an alcohol swab and let them dry.
  2. Draw the bacteriostatic water with a sterile syringe and inject it slowly down the inside wall of the peptide vial — never straight onto the powder.
  3. Swirl gently until the solution is clear. Do not shake; foaming and agitation damage peptides.
  4. Label the vial with the date and concentration, and refrigerate at 2–8 °C protected from light.

Worked example at the calculator defaults: 10 mg + 2 mL of bacteriostatic water = 5 mg/mL, so on a U-100 insulin syringe 1 unit = 50 mcg of Kisspeptin-10. Change either input and the calculator redoes this for you.

Storage and stability

Dry powder
Cold, dark and dry. Lyophilized peptide is the stable form — keep it that way until you intend to use it.
After reconstitution
Refrigerate at 2–8 °C, protect from light, and plan around a limited window. Do not freeze a reconstituted vial — freeze-thaw damages peptides.
Mixing
Run bacteriostatic water down the inside wall of the vial rather than onto the powder, then swirl. Never shake.
Inspect before use
A clear solution is expected. Cloudiness or particles mean discard, not use.

Supplies math

Whatever amounts your research uses, the planning arithmetic is the same. The calculator runs all of this per compound.

Vials
Doses per vial = vial size in mg divided by your per-dose amount in mg. The calculator on this page runs that arithmetic for any vial size and amount you enter.
Syringes
One sterile U-100 insulin syringe per injection, plus roughly 10% spares for bent tips and mis-draws. Daily protocols run 30 or 31 per month.
Bacteriostatic water
1 to 3 mL per vial reconstituted. A single 10 mL bottle covers 3 to 10 vials, so one bottle usually outlasts several vials.
Alcohol swabs
Two per injection: one for the vial stopper, one for the site. A 100-count box covers about 7 weeks of daily work.

Supplies by protocol length

Based on the maintenance dose above (200 mcg, once daily subcutaneous) and a 10 mg vial reconstituted with 1 mL.

DurationInjectionsVialsSyringesBac waterSwabs
8 weeks562 x 10 mg621 x 10 mL112
12 weeks842 x 10 mg931 x 10 mL168
16 weeks1123 x 10 mg1241 x 10 mL224

Syringe count includes ~10% spares. Swabs = 2 per injection (stopper + site). Vial count assumes the full maintenance dose for the entire duration.

Important notes

Practical considerations for consistency and safety.

  • Use a new sterile insulin syringe for each injection and dispose in a proper sharps container.
  • Inject slowly and steadily; wait a few seconds before withdrawing the needle to ensure complete delivery.
  • Administer at the same time each day for consistent levels. Setting a daily reminder helps maintain the schedule.
  • The 10 mg vial size is standard for this compound. Reconstitute with 1 mL bacteriostatic water for a convenient concentration.

How Kisspeptin-10 works

The product of the KISS1 gene and the upstream trigger of the reproductive axis: it stimulates GnRH release from the hypothalamus, which drives LH and FSH. It is the master switch that puberty depends on.

Benefits & side effects

Potential benefits

  • GnRH stimulator supporting reproductive hormones
  • Stimulates LH and FSH release naturally
  • Studied in fertility and hypogonadism research
  • Supports endogenous hormone production

Possible side effects

  • Injection site reactions
  • Hot flushes reported
  • May affect reproductive hormone levels
  • Limited long-term data

This list reflects published literature and community reports. Individual responses vary. Not medical advice.

Bloodwork worth tracking

The community-standard practice is a baseline panel before starting, a recheck 8 to 12 weeks in, and another after time off. For Kisspeptin-10, the markers most worth watching:

LHFSHtestosterone/estradiolCMP

Typical time off: 4-8 wks

Lab panels are how a research protocol stays honest: numbers move before symptoms do. Interpretation belongs with a clinician. Not medical advice.

Lifestyle factors

None of the literature above was run on a background of poor sleep and no protein. These variables move outcomes more reliably than any compound on this site.

  • Protein in the 1.6 to 2.2 g/kg range preserves lean mass through any body-composition phase.
  • Resistance training 2 to 4 days per week plus 150+ minutes of weekly aerobic work reinforces whatever the protocol is doing.
  • Sleep is the recovery window: 7 to 9 hours at consistent times.
  • Hydration matters more than usual on compounds with GI or flushing effects: 2 to 3 liters daily.
  • Track the variables that matter: weigh-ins, measurements, photos, and labs at sensible intervals.

Subcutaneous technique and practical notes

General best practice from clinical injection guidance — the same fundamentals nurses are taught, none of it specific to any compound.

Fresh sterile syringe, every time
Reusing needles dulls the tip, hurts more, and is the easiest contamination route. Dispose of used syringes in a sharps container, not the bin.
Rotate sites
Abdomen (5 cm clear of the navel), thighs, upper arms. Rotating systematically prevents localised irritation and lipohypertrophy.
Slow and steady
Pinch a skinfold, insert at 45–90°, inject slowly, and wait a few seconds before withdrawing. Subcutaneous injections are not aspirated.
Write it down
Log the date, amount and site. A record is the only way to keep any research protocol consistent — and the first thing to review if anything looks off.

About 50 maintenance doses of 200 mcg, roughly 7.1 weeks at once daily subcutaneous.

Does Kisspeptin-10 have human trial data?

Yes. The dosing on this page is anchored to published human research (Dhillo WS and colleagues, kisspeptin human reproductive physiology and IVF trigger studies).

How does Kisspeptin-10 work?

The product of the KISS1 gene and the upstream trigger of the reproductive axis: it stimulates GnRH release from the hypothalamus, which drives LH and FSH. It is the master switch that puberty depends on.

Sourcing Kisspeptin-10

Whatever you are working with, the documentation matters more than the price. Ask for a batch certificate of analysis whose lot number matches the vial you actually receive — a COA for a different batch tells you nothing about yours.
